The Thing (1982)
Director: John Carpenter Writer: Bill Lancaster (Based on the short story “Who Goes There?” by John W. Campbell Jr.) Doing a Carpenter re-watch. One of my favorite filmmakers. The Thing is possibly my favorite horror movie of all time. Perfect.

Hollow Man (2000)
Director: Paul Verhoeven Writer: Andrew W. Marlowe (Story by Gary Scott Thompson and Andrew W. Marlowe) Not good. Probably my least favorite Verhoeven. Special effects hold up pretty well though so worth watching for that.
