Director: Bobcat Goldthwait
Writer: Bobcat Goldthwait
After the greatness of World’s Greatest Dad I became much more interesting in Bobcat’s career. This starts off with a very bizarre concept, a woman blew a dog in college and she struggles with should she tell her fiancé or not, and goes off in a bunch of different directions from there. It struggles a bit to make that into a 90 minute movie. That coupled with the very low budget and sub par directing makes this an interesting try but not totally successful. I do like Goldthwait’s willingness to embrace a really dark idea for a comedy but this one came off as trying too hard to be offensive. Most of the time I didn’t think any of the characters were very believable just as human beings.
