Howl (2010)

ImageDirectors: Rob Epstein & Jeffrey Friedman

Writers: Rob Epstein & Jeffrey Friedman

An interesting and unconventional take on the obscenity trial around Allen Ginsberg’s famous poem Howl.  While the trial is dramatized they also feature the reading of the actual poem set to animate vignettes.  An interesting film, a little hollow and distant however, but I applaud the effort.
