Probably on my top ten favorite movies of all time list. A phenomenal film on all fronts. The cast is absolutely stellar. When people wrongfully give Cage shit I just think of this movie. Definitely my favorite performance of his and I love Streep in this as well. The mind fuck of a final act blew my mind when I saw it in the theatre ten years ago and it still does. The movie so gleefully plays with film conventions. Love everything about it. And Brian Cox’s one scene as Robert McKee is a real stand out. WATCH IT!
