Alice in Wonderland (1951)

Directors: Clyde Geronimi, Wilfred Jackson, & Hamilton Luske

Writers: Too many to list

(Based on the novels “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass” by Lewis Carroll)

Haven’t seen this in so long it was like watching it for the first time.  Totally gorgeous Blu Ray transfer.  It looks like a new movie.  Unfortunately the movie itself isn’t really that good.  The music is forgettable and there really isn’t any narrative push or anything.  It has lots of interesting looking characters but that is about it.  Even at only 75 minutes it feels long.  Not one of the best of the “classic” Disney movies.
