Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop (2011)

Conan O'Brien Can't StopDirector: Rodman Flender

A pretty great behind the scenes look at the cross country tour Conan O’Brien went on after getting fired from The Tonight Show after less than a year.  As a fan I was pretty mad that Conan, after almost two decades at NBC, was dumped so quickly, but when he first got the job I was wondering if it would even work.  Conan and Leno are just so different in terms of styles, even though they are both talk show hosts.  I went to one of the Radio City Music Hall shows, I am pretty sure I am in one of the shots in this, and they were comedy and a lot of music, more like a variety show.  This documentary did a pretty good job at remaining seemingly neutral.  It isn’t a pity party for Conan, it doesn’t always show him in the best light.  For a fan this is definitely one to check out.
