Pretty junky. Just totally soulless. There are no stakes, no originality, no wonder, no fun. A forgettable experience. Reynolds is fine in the lead role but the whole thing just stinks of behind the scenes mess. The movie has no strong sense of style like Raimi’s Spider-man films or Nolan’s Batman films. Campbell is just a lame director for hire. The story is just a rush to the finish line. None of the characters are memorable or interesting. Maybe they will try again in ten years. For now Green Lantern is done.
