The Rise of the Planet of the Apes trailer made me want to go back and re-visit the original film as well as watch all of the sequels for the first time. Sure Heston is a bit of a ham and the makeup is goofy looking but I think this film definitely holds up and was also surprised at the quality of the sequels. Really excited for the new one!
