Director: Ron Howard
Writer: Allan Loeb
This movie is very strange. Marketed as a straight up goofy comedy it has those moments but also has some dramatic elements that makes this movie tonally very all over the place. I feels like the result of too many cooks in the kitchen so to speak with no strong voice guiding it. It isn’t funny enough to be a hilarious comedy and it has too many goofy scenes to be a real dramatic look at relationships. Pretty much a wash all around. Surprisingly enough though I found Channing Tatum to be the funniest actor in the film. Ron Howard continues his run as maybe the blandest famous director.
