Gulliver’s Travels (2010)

Gulliver's Travels

Director: Rob Letterman

Writers: Joe Stillman and Nicholas Stoller

(Based on a book by Jonathan Swift)

This movie, along with pretty crummy special effects (you can seriously see a green hue around Black in some scenes the effects blending is that bad), seems to have an identity crisis.  I got the sense the filmmakers wanted the movie to skew a little older and half way through changed their minds and decided to make it a kids film.  The film barely has a story and is pretty much wall to wall product placement for Fox products.  There seemed to be like whole scenes missing but I guess that helps as the movie was barely 80 minutes long so not much of a time commitment.  A shame because there is a lot of talented people involved.  A waste all around.
