Director: John Moffitt and Jerry Seinfeld
Writer: Colin Quinn
I always though Quinn was very awkward and uncomfortable as a performer during his period as SNL Weekend Update anchor. I thought maybe this just wasn’t the proper venue to see him in. But then over the past decade or so I have seen him on many shows and in movies in various roles and he acts just the same. I guess that is part of his charm? I don’t know. I don’t think I can get past it. He recently did a one man show on Broadway and they taped it and aired it on HBO. He does a kind of history of the world and it is kind of funny but nothing spectacular. I sometimes don’t get why this is a Broadway one man show and not just a stand up special? I guess so he can charge Broadway prices?
